Six draw sentences in 20th District Court action

CAMERON—Six persons drew sentences in 20th District Court during the past week, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Ismael Cody Vargas, 25, Cameron pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams), six-year prison term, $140 restitution. He also pleaded guilty to delivery of marijuana and drew a second six-year sentence, plus $560 restitution.

• Equalae Len Davis, 36, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance ( less than one gram), 18-month state jail term, $140 restitution. Davis also pleaded guilty to two more counts of delivery of a controlled substance (less than one gram) and received two additional concurrent 18-month sentences, plus $140 restitution on each.

• Joshua Glenn Seelke, 24, Rockdale, pleaded true to violating probation conditions for sexual assault of a child, probation revoked, six-year prison term.

• Joshua Jim Pesina, 19, Cameron, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief ($1,500 to $20,000), two-year state jail term, $19,981.78 restitution.

• Rodney John Rudnick III, 22, Killeen, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), three years deferred adjudication, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, $1,000 fine, $140 restitution.

• Brandon Charles Cotton, 18, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to engaging in organized criminal activity five-year probated term, $1,475 restitution.
