Heart attack suspected in farm death

The Milam County Sheriff’s Department, and a Cameron Justice of the Peace believe a Taylor area man, whose body was found in a San Gabriel field Saturday had a heart attack.

Deputy Sheriff Chris White said the body of Clay Channing Pasemann, 48, was found about 5 p.m. Saturday in a field on FM 3061 in far western Milam County.

“He was next to his tractor,” White said.

Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Sam Berry ordered an autopsy, as a routine matter.

White and Berry said all signs were “consistent with a heart attack.”

A celebration of life for Pasemann is set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, with burial in the Taylor City Cemetery.

The sheriff’s department answered 12 calls to livestock running loose on Milam roads or rights-of-way during the past week.
