Three sentenced in past week’s court docket
Three persons drew terms in 20th District Court last week, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears, who listed case dispositions:
• Cary Evette Meyer, 42, Rockdale, pleaded true to violating probation conditions on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), 20-month state jail term, $140 restitution.
• Russell A lan Kelley, 35, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to evading arrest with a motor vehicle, 18-month state jail term.
He also pleaded “true” to violating probation conditions for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and drew another 18-month state jail term.
He also pleaded guilty to DWI-third offense or more, enhanced, and drew an eight-year prison term.
• Frank Edward Muston, 38, Cameron, made an open plea to the court on charges of debit/credit card abuse and forgery by passing and was assessed two concurrent three-year prison sentences and was ordered to pay $1,090 parole restitution.
