Pogue

Graveside services for Valla Marie Pogue, 86, of Bellville, formerly of Lyton Springs, were scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, in Pettytown Cemetery near Red Rock with Rev. Geary McManus of Lexington officiating.

Mrs. Pogue died Monday, Feb. 14, in Bellville General Hospital in Bellville.

She was born Jan. 3, 1925, in Austin to Oscar D. and Lola (Wafford) Moore.

She married Murry Pogue on Oct. 23, 1942 in Austin.

Mrs. Pogue was a homemaker and had been a Bellville resident for the past four years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on Nov. 22, 2007, three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors are three daughters, Lorraine Behamou and husband Mo of Dale, Geri Reat and husband Rick of Lexington, Gwen Cerncek and husband John of Hempstead, as well as six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
