ENGAGED—Mr. and Mrs. James Rasco of Hearne are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Rae Rasco, to Jason Miller Starnes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Starnes of Rockdale. The bride- elect is a 2003 graduate of Milano High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in health education from Texas A&M University in 2007 and is pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in nursing from UTMB in Galveston. The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Rockdale High School and received a bachelor of business administration in finance from Texas A&M University in 2007. He is employed by JPMorgan Chase in Houston. The couple will wed Saturday, June 25, 2011, in College Station. ENGAGED—Gregory Barber plans to wed Michelle Kearney on June 11, 2011, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Rockdale. The bride- elect’s parents are Harry Kearney and Tressa Kearney of Parkfalls, Wisconsin. The prospective groom’s parents are Royce Barber and the late Pauline Barber. TO WED—Ronnie and Pam Alexander of Rockdale announce the wedding of their daughter, Melissa, to Danny Christie, son of Jim and Mary Christie of Houston. The bride-elect is a graduate of Texas A&M and is a P.E. teacher in Pearland. The prospective groom is a journeyman plumber in his family’s business in Houston. They will be married at Lindsey Lakes in Houston on Feb. 26 and will make their home in northwest Houston.
