ALUMNI BASEBALL SCRAPBOOK

Saturday was more than just your run of the mill Rockdale alumni baseball game. The 1962 American Legion team, which finished as state finalists, was honored between games (at top). In the middle right, Post 358 Commander Art Free hands out replica caps to the members of the team as a token of appreciation. In the middle left, Charlie Watson and Cecil Cook raise old glory before the games. Above right, alumnus Cody Burrough puts the tag on current Tiger Justin Herrera during a play at the plate. Above left, alumni P.J. Williams gleefully rounds the bases after hammering an opposite field home run. At right, the Ramirez brothers, Cruz and Frank Jr., stride off the field after turning a double play.
