The Lady Tigers whipped Weimar 14-2 to open the season, then were bested by Robinson 8-0, both at the Softball Complex.

Against Robinson, the Lady Tigers had trouble stringing together any substantial hits against Lady Rocket pitcher Morgan Vanmeter, who limited Rockdale to two hits while faning 11 batters.

Rockdale had several players missing due to illness and injury.

Kayleigh Montelongo struck out seven batters in relief of starter Mac Tater.
