Milano falls to taller Evadale squad
WILLIS–The No. 5 Milano Eagles (27-4) were upset by a much taller Evadale Rebels (19-15) team 48-35 on Wednesday night in the regional quarterfinals at WIldkat Gym. The Rebels will now play Mason in the Region IV Class A Division I tournament on Friday at Burger Center in Austin. Normangee and San Antonio Stacey will face off in the other semifinal. Full Story

The Rockdale Tigers will shoot the starting gun on the 2011 track season with a little home cooking at the 53rd annual Rockdale Relays.
The action gets under- way at 12:30 Friday at Tiger Field, beginning with the field events.

Killjoy Lovejoy puts an end to Robinson’s Classic reign
In a battle of ranked teams Leopards take tourney title
In the first three years of its existence, Robinson has made the Bell Rivals Classic its own personal playground with three title trophies.
It took one of the top teams in the state to put an end to the dominance as Lucas Lovejoy bested Robinson 9-6 in the championship game to take the 4th annual Bell Rivals crown. Full Story

First annual alumni golf tournament set in July
The Rockdale Country Club Mens Golf Association is sponsoring the first annual Tiger Golf Team Alumni Tournament.
The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, July 30 at the Rockdale Country Club and all proceeds will go to the RHS golf team.

Montelongo establishes new RBI standard with 7 against Waco
ACA DEM Y—The Rockd a le Lady Tigers spun out of the Academy Tournament with a winning ledger, taking three of five contests.
The Lady Tigers are 5-3-1 on the year.
Rockdale defeated Bartlett 6-0, Killeen 7-2 and Moody 11-5. The Lady Tigers fell to Bruceville- Eddy 2-0 and Waco Connally 6-2 while tieing Waco Riesel 3-3. Full Story

Thorndale booster club hosting golf tournament
Thorndale Athletic Boosters are hosting a golf tournament on March 26 at the Golf Club at Star Ranch in Round Rock.
