Sixteen draw terms in Milam County’s 20th District Court

CAMERON—Sixteen persons drew terms ranging from prison to probation in 20th District Court last week, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears, who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Shunteria LaQuan Bryant, 20, Cameron, pleaded guilty to theft of service ($1,500 to $ 20,000), two years deferred adjudication probation, complete theft aversion class, $1,603 restitution.

• Christopher Michael Garcia, 33, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to theft ($1,500 to $20,000). 14- month state jail term.

• Heron Carvajal Marquez, 40, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to a less misdemeanor offense, assault/ family violence, one-year county jail term, probated two years, complete batterer’s intervention class, $1,500 fine.

• Brian Lee Woodward, 38, A ng leton, pleaded g uilt y to misdemeanor assault, one- day county jail term, $500 fine, $753 restitution.

• Christopher Harold McNeil, 29, Taylor, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), 15-month state jail term, $140 restitution.

• Jose I. Sanchez, 34, Taylor, pleaded guilty to DWI with passenger under 15, two-year probated state jail term, oneyear driver’s license suspension, $2,000 fine, five-day county jail term.

• Nathan Ritard Shefflette Jr., 378, Gause, pleaded guilty to assault/family violence-impeding breathing/circulation, two-year prison term.

• Ellihue Wilbur n Jr., 49, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams) with intent to deliver), 15-year prison term, $140 restitution.

• Kyle Eugene Muro, 23, Temple, pleaded true to violating probation conditions for prohibited substance in a correctional facility, probation revoke and three-year prison term assessed. Muro also pleaded guilty to burglary of a building, 10-month state jail term.

• Melissa L ee Ga rcia, 34 , Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), five years deferred adjudication probation, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, $280 restitution.

• Eddie Ray Westbrook, 25, Cameron, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams) with intent to deliver, and to evading arrest or detention (enhanced) and evading arrest with a motor vehicle, five years deferred adjudication probation, complete Central Texas Treatment Center, $140 restitution.

• Don Randal Robinson Jr., 50, Thorndale, pleaded guilty to evading arrest with a motor vehicle, six-month state jail term.

• Kelley Michelle Hernandez, 50, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to theft ($ 20,000 to $100,000), five-year probated prison term, successfully complete substance abuse treatment facility, $36,500 restitution.

• Kendall Fredric Theis, 24, Brow nwood, pleaded true to probation violation conditions on original offense of attempted sexual assault of a child, five year prison term to run concurrent with a Brown County case.

• Bradley James Davenport, 28, Rockdale, pleaded true to violating probation conditions on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), two-year state jail term. He also received two five-year prison term after his probations were revoked on offenses of possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams) with intent to deliver and felon in possession of firearm.

• Martin Rivera, 43, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to burglary of a building, nine-month state jail term.
