Lions Club pancake supper Saturday at Civic Center

Milano Evening Lions Club will hold its annual pancake supper from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, March 12. The fund-raiser will be held at the Milano Civic Center. Prices are $5 for adults and teens over 13 years of age and $3 for children 12 and under. The price includes pancakes, sausage and a drink.

The Master Peace Quartet will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, March 18 at the Milano Civic Center. Admission is $15 per family (immediate), $8 for adults and 12 and under is $5 each. The performance is sponsored by the Milano Senior Citizens group.

Anyone that is interested in performing or participating in the upcoming community Easter pageant may contact Edward Westbrook at 254-493-1382. The deadline for the rescheduled alumni softball/baseball games is now March 21. Get your teams signed up for the event that will now be held on Saturday, April 2. Milano Athletic Booster Club is hosting the fund-raiser and it will cost you $20 per person per event to register and include a T-shirt.

The day will include the softball/ baseball tournaments, horse pitching, washer throwing and of course, a home run derby.

Our sympathies go out to the family of H.G. “Bull” Bullock who passed away March 1. Graveside services were held Saturday at Milano Cemetery.
