SAL SIGNS



SAL SIGNS—Rockdale’s Sal Bishop signed a letter of intent Tuesday to play football at Mary Hardin- Baylor in Belton. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Bishop was a first-team All-District 23-3A defensive tackle for the Tigers and a two-way starter. Witnessing the signing is parents Lisa Rubio and Zach Bishop as well as (back) RISD Athletic Director Jeff Miller, RHS assistant principal Brent Hasselbach and RHS principal Joseph Geletka. Mary Hardin-Baylor is one of the top NCAA Division III football programs in the country and is regularly ranked in the top 10 and was 12-1 last season.
