Hope Milano ISD faculty and staff are enjoying their spring break this week. There is less than three months left of this 2010-11 school year. Milano Lions Club had a very successful pancake supper and silent auction on Saturday at the Milano Civic Center. The Lions Club supports our town, schools and county in many ways like scholarships to graduating seniors, purchasing eye glasses for students in need and other activities. Also, thank you to everyone that donated items for the dinner and auction.

The Cass family received word this week that our uncle Hoy Butcher passed away. He was the husband of Daisy Cass Butcher. I have many fun memories when their family would come to visit my grandparents in Gause.
