Michael and Wanda Vidrine of College Station and Ernie and Marilyn Cates of Rockdale announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Katherine Elizabeth Vidrine and William Elliot Cates. The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Rockdale High School, a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M University with a master’s degree in human resource management. She is currently employed by Texas Engineering Experiment Station as HR services coordinator in College Station. The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Rockdale High School and a 2006 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial distribution. He is currently employed by Texas Medical Distributors, a family business, as warehouse manager, in Rockdale. The couple plans an outdoor wedding on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Double Creek Crossing in Caldwell.
