Four draw sentences

CA MERON— Fou r persons drew sentences in 20th District Court action last week, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears, who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Dwight Eugene Davis, 49, Rockdale, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to a two-year state jail term after he was convicted of violating probation conditions on an original conviction for delivery of a controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Bobby Ray Lockett Jr., 24, Cameron, pleaded guilty to evading arrest with a motor vehicle, two-year jail term, probated three years, including driver’s license suspension for one year.

• Jonathan Paul Salazar, 24, Cameron, pleaded “true” to violating probation conditions on an original conviction of assault family violence, enhanced.

His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to a three-year prison term.

• Rashad Cortez Warren, 21, Killeen, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana (4 ounces to 5 pounds), one-year state jail term, $140 restitution.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
