Grand jury indicts 21, 4 from fest weekend

See Reporter/Mike Brown CAMERON—Twenty- one persons were indicted Thursday by a Milam County Grand Jury, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears.

She said four of the indictments were related to activity during the 2010 Nocturnal Fest music event, held near Rockdale last September. They are:

• Alexander John Jaggers, 20, Austin, possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Carver Ripley 21, Austin, possession of a controlled substance (1-4 grams).

• Phillip Anthony Suarez, 21, Austin, possession of a controlled substance (1-4 grams).

• Derrik Blaine Totty, 21, Tulsa Oklahoma, possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram).

A total of 15 persons have now been indicted on drug charges stemming from that weekend in September.

Spears listed other indictments as follows:

• Angel Nadean Harkins, 39, Rockdale, assault causes bodily injury, family violence with prior conviction.

• Jerry Glen Myers Jr., 24, Rockdale, prohibited substance in a correctional facility.

• Casey Brandon Allen, 30, Franklin, theft ($1,500 to $20,000).

• Matthew Lee Vargas, 24, Cameron, fraudulent use of identifying information.

• Ursula Dawn Schlemmer, 44, Rockdale, debit card abuse.

• James Lee Uher, 35, Rockdale, attempted sexual performance of a child.

• Russell Alan Kelley, 35, Rockdale, assault of a public servant.

• Curtis Wade Russell, 24, Rockdale, injury to a child with serious bodily injury.

• Courtney Michelle Coleman, 32, Rockdale, injury to a child with serious bodily injury by omission.

• Ricky Peña, 27, Fairfield, unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

• Bobby Joe Blaylock Jr., 32, Austin, possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Ivery Joe Williams, 60, Rockdale, possession of a controlled substance (4-200 grams) with intent to deliver.

• Kenneth Ray Johnson, 35, Rockdale, possession of a controlled substance (4-200 grams) with intent to deliver.

• Dawania Antoinette Mitchell, 34, Rockdale, possession of a controlled substance (4-200 grams) with intent to deliver.

• Kenneth Eugene Drones, 50, Cameron, possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Xavier Torres, 29, Cameron, possession of a controlled substance ( less than one gram).

• Wesley Eugene Parker, 35, Milano, possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram).

A no-bill (refused to indict) was handed down in the indecency with a child case of Reginald Markeith Sanders 23, of Rockdale.
