Deductible for county

CA MERON— Mi lam C ou nty commissioners on Monday okayed a health plan for county employees which includes a $500 and $30 co-pay.

County Judge Dave Barkemeyer said the plan will still include medical, dental and pharmacy.

He said a series of meetings will be set up with county employees to answer any questions they have.

CLAIM—Following an executive session, commissioners hired Allison & Associates, attorneys, to represent the county in what Barkemeyer termed a “relatively small pay issue” involving a county employee.

Commissioners also approved a resolution expressing support for extending US 190 (Texas 36) to four lanes from Cameron to the county line.
