Two hurt in Thorndale area accident

Two persons were hurt March 30 in a one-vehicle accident near Thorndale, according to State Trooper Ernest DelBosque, who investigated.

DelBosque said driver William Bass, 33, of Austin and passenger, 24-year- old Rox Dawes, both reported injuries following the 11:50 a.m. crash on FM 486 north of Thorndale.

Vehicle damages were termed extensive, according to Del- Bosque.

DelBosque also investigated a 3:55 p.m. one-vehicle accident the same day south of Thorndale.

He listed the driver as Katherine O’Brien, 17, of Thorndale. DelBosque said the driver and a passenger refused treatment.

Vehicle damage was listed as moderate.

No injuries were reported at 6:40 a.m. Friday in a one-vehicle crash on FM 487, east of Davilla, according to Trooper Erik Gaston.

Driver was listed as Julie Morrison, 47, of Thorndale.

Gaston said the vehicle hit a deer and sustained moderate damages.

No injuries, and minor damages, were reported in a 4:45 p.m. Thursday accident on FM 2095 north of Hanover.

Driver was listed as Donna Beasley, 41, of Cameron, according to the DPS.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
