Rockdale still in decline for year
Milam County check 6% less than 2010
AUSTIN—Texas Comptroller Susan Combs announced last week the state’s sales revenue in March was $1.60 billion, up 9.9 percent compared to March 2010.
The City of Rockdale and Milam County, along with the city of Cameron are down in rebate money compared to the amounts received in April 2010. Other cities in the county were up in amounts received compared to a year ago. Full Story

A s this busy month of April marches on I am reminded again of the greatness of this town. The MARC Run raised $26,000 last week and hats off to Bad to the Bone Motorcycle Club for their great event. This money will go to the expansion project at the MARC Center. Full Story
