BELLME A D— Ser v ices for Marguerite R. Greene, 89, of Lacy Lakeview will be 11am Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Dunman officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park.

Visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, April 13, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Greene died Monday, April 11, at a local nursing home.

She was born May 28, 1921, in Ringgold to George Thomas Sr. and Marguerite Evenelia (Jordan) Hughes.

She married Oscar Earl Greene Jan. 3, 1942.

Mrs. Greene retired from Montgomery Wards department store after 20 years of service and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, O.E. Greene in 1992; a sister, Madge Stephenson; a brother, Charles Arthur Hughes; and a grandson, David Earl Greene Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Becky Estes and husband Gary of Richardson; two sons Gary Greene and wife Tracey of Moody, David Greene and wife Janell of Cameron; two sisters, Maggie Mitchell of New Mexico, Avis Kirkendall of Crosbyton; a brother, George Hughes Jr. of Lubbock; six grandchildren, Steven, Kathy, Casey, Corey, Stephanie and Sarah; and a granddaughter-in-law, Tiffany; also, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church.
