This dramatic surveillance video was captured at Cefco No. 17 on North Travis (US 77) in Cameron during an armed robbery at 2:09 a.m. Tuesday. Cameron Police Ofc.. Kris Stringer said a young, masked black male, approximately 5-8 and 170 pounds, pointed a pistol at a clerk, demanded money and then ran east on West 22nd Street. At 8:45 p.m. the same day, 17-year-old Willie Joe Bell of Cameron turned himself in to Stringer and was charged with aggravated robbery after police identified him as a suspect. Stringer said an undisclosed amount of money was taken and the clerk was not injured.
