Ten draw sentences in 20th District Court

CAMERON—Ten persons drew sentences last week in 20th District Court of Milam County, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears, who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Stephen Wayne Self Jr., 41, Cameron, pleaded true to violating probation conditions for DWIthird or more offense, five-year prison term.

• Jackson Collier Mann, 25, Deer Park, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram). 12-month state jail term, $140 restitution.

• Dylon Way ne Caf fey, 19, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), 10-year prison term, probated five years, complete substance abuse facility and restitution center, $140 restitution. Caffey also pleaded guilty to forgery by passing and drew a two-year state jail term, probated five years, ordered to complete substance abuse facility and restitution center, plus $1,375 restitution.

• Vernon Lee Diver, 31, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to evading arrest/enhanced and theft with prior conviction, two-year state jail term. He received a second two-year state jail term after pleading guilty to theft with prior conviction. He also was ordered to pay $616.90 restitution.

• Andrew Roy Konen, 20, Austin, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), four years deferred adjudication probation, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, complete drug education class, $1,500 fine, $140 restitution.

• Samuel Martin Wesson, 26, Lexington, pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, three years deferred adjudication probation, $1,230.89 restitution. Wesson also pleaded guilty to a lesser Class A misdemeanor offense, possession of a dangerous drug and was ordered to serve a four-day county jail term, and pay a $500 fine plus $295 court costs.

• Jermaine Lamont Mayberry, 28, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (less than one gram), two 18-month state jail terms, $280 restitution.

• Daniel Ray Cain II, 27, Rockda le, pleaded g uilt y to assault causes bodily injury/family violence (enhanced) and possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams), enhanced, two five-year prison terms.

• Shannon Edward Varner, 29, Calvert, pleaded guilty to evading arrest with a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, two 11-month sentences.

DWI TRIAL—Ryan Charles Machacek of Shiner was found guilty of DWI in a misdemeanor jury trial. His punishment was not listed.
