Dunbar

Graveside services for Joy Marie Dunbar, 59, of Milano were held Friday, May 6, 2011, in Pleasant Retreat Cemetery near Thorndale.

Ms. Dunbar died Tuesday, May 3, at her residence near Milano.

She was born Feb. 12, 1952, in Vivian, Louisiana, to Kenneth and Betty (Champion) Dunbar.

A homemaker, Ms. Dunbar had been a Milano resident for the past 22 years and was formerly of Bryan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Charles Muse.

Sur vivors are a son, Michael McKitchen; a brother, Charles Muse and wife Donna of Longview; four sisters, Margaret Ann Holiday of Benchley, Jean Combs and husband Larry of Blanket, Debbie Lee Dunbar of Jefferson, Linda Kay Rae and husband Eric Scott of Jefferson; and her companion, Phillip Lawrence of Milano.

Pallbearers were Gar y Er win, Branden Thompson, Robert Wilson, Bryan Hand, Howard Allen, Henry Fronek, Roy Rhea and Tony Chavez.
