RHS Class of 1976
The RHS Class of 1976 will hold its 35th-year class reunion on Saturday, June 11 at The Ranch.

RHS Class of 1941
Members of the RHS Class of 1941 will hold their 70th reunion at the Busy Bee Restaurant June 11- 12, according to Natha Lee House of Irving, publicist.
Saturday: 1:30 p.m., visiting and snacks; 7 p.m., dinner.
Sunday: 8: 30 a.m., breakfast, following by attendance at homecoming.
Nelson family reunion
MILANO—The annual Nelson family reunion will be held Sunday, May 29 in the Milano Civic Center. Doors will open at 10 a.m.
A covered dish lunch will be served at noon, featuring a silent auction and guessing games. Family and friends are invited to attend and bring lunch dishes and silent auction items.

MILANO—The Downey-Williamson family reunion will be held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, June 11 at the Milano Senior Citizens Center.

47th Appelt reunion
HALLETTSVILLE—The 47th Appelt family reunion is scheduled for Sunday, June 5 at Appelt’s Hill Hall in Hallettsville.
Lunch will be ser ved at noon. Meat, drinks, and paper goods will be furnished. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert, an item for a prize-drawing, photos for sharing or copying, and information to update their “limb” on the family tree.

The annual Doss family reunion will be held Saturday, June 4 at the New Salem Clubhouse at Fair Park. Doors will open at 10 a.m.

THORNDALE—The annual Modesette reunion will be held Sunday, June 5 in the Thorndale VFW post home off FM 486 north. Family and friends are invited and doors will open at 10 a.m.

72nd Lagrone reunion
MILANO— The 72nd annual LaGrone family reunion is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, June 17-19 at the residence of Norine LaGrone.
Live music and a variety of food and games are on the schedule for one of the longest running family reunions in the state.
Friday is worker’s night with dinner to be served for those who help set up, while Saturday’s ice cream social will include hamburgers and hot dogs.
Saturday night will include the 7th annual LaGrone Muster.
The main reunion will begin with lunch being ser ved at noon on Sunday.
Buckholts school reunion
BUCKHOLTS—The annual Buckholts School reunion and homecoming will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4 in the Buckholts SPJST hall.
“This is for everyone who would like to enjoy a day of fun and relaxation,” said E.J. Provasek, spokesman.
He said a barbecue lunch will be catered by Circle S of Cameron and serving will start be 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at $8 per plate.
Mother’s Day reunion
MILANO— On Mother’s Day weekend, Milano locals Jim and Peg Pratt, Jane and Roger Friedrichs joined A.D. and Ruth Lagrone and at least 10 of their kids and grandkids at the grill with Andy Lagrone’s help and turned out steaks and burgers and fish to go with breads, corn-on-the-cob, zipper peas, black-eyed peas, fruit salads and tomatoes, cobbler and pies.
Son - in - law Chris Speasmaker brought Latham and Caleb from Pearland to join wife Lore and the boys’ aunt Lisa who came earlier. Cameron Lagrone came from Baylor to join her parents, Jamie and Andy, from Bulverde. Joel and D’Aun came alone from Bedford since daughter Shay and her husband Chris Redwine were celebrating with his mother. Joel’s and D’Aun’s son Aaron will graduate from Belmont U. in Nashville, TN. Jacob Lagrone (Jamie’s and Andy’s) will graduate from Bellarmine U. in Louisville, KY at the same time.
Lore, Ruth and A.D. have each had cancer but are all doing well at this time.
Older daughter Lucy and husband John Long are IMB missionaries in Belgium. Their daughter Megan and husband Justin Green live in Gainesville, FL where he graduated from the U. of Florida. John’s mother, Megan’s other grandmother, also lives there. Lore Lagrone, Latham and Caleb visited Chris Speasmaker’s mother Sunday afternoon in Waco.— Ruth T. Lagrone
