Seminar set on ranch estate planning

COLLEGE STATION–Texas AgriLife Extension in cooperation with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, will present a seminar “How the New Law affects Ranch Estate Planning” Aug. 3-4 at the College Station Conference Center, 1300 George Bush Drive.

Classes will run from 1-5 p.m. Aug. 3 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 4.

Registration fee is $150 poer person and includes refreshments, all seminar materials and lunch.

Enrollment is limited.

Seminar topics include basic estate planning devices, estate taxes, keeping the ranch operating, use of corporations and partnerships, special use land valution, deferred esate tax payment rules and life insurance and its role in estate planning.
