Attorneys want to be judge
Two Cameron attorneys have become the first two candidates to replace retiring 20th District Judge Ed Magre.
John Youngblood and Norman Lanford have submitted their applications to Gov. Rick Perry, who will make the appointment.
Youngblood is a Republican and Lanford a Democrat.

Father Tony transferred to ALCOA in Point Comfort
According to reports in the Victoria Advocate Wednesday morning, Daniel Brooks will be suiting up for Calhoun High School next season instead of wearing the blue and gold of Rockdale.
According to sources there, Brooks’ father Tony has been transferred to the ALCOA plant in Point Comfort. Full Story
