A number of Gause folks were in Bryan Saturday evening to attend the wedding of Erica Rasco and Jason Starnes at the A& M United Methodist Church with the reception at the Brazos Center. It was a beautiful wedding. The little f lower girls Gracie Rasco and Mckenzie Coldiron were so cute and the ring bearer Noah Coldiron was one handsome little man.

These three are kind of special since I’ve known them since their births and some of their parents since their births. I can even go back further than that, but I might be telling my age. Thing is, my age isn’t as old as I once thought it was.

It was good to see Cheryl and Chuck Timko of Livingston Saturday at the Rasco-Starnes wedding in Bryan. Hayden Rasco is now a teenager. He celebrated his 13th birthday Sunday, June 25 with family as they enjoyed lunch at a Mexican restaurant in Hearne.

Weekend guests with Lois Wilkins was daughter Jennifer from New Braunfels, son J.D. Wilkins, daughter-in-law Rita and family from Evadale.

The group of youngsters who attended church camp at Latham Springs this last week report having a great time even though they were without electricity for a number of hours on Tuesday night when the thunderstorm hit that area.

Edith Smith spent the weekend in Houston with her sister Lucille Anderson and they attended Cy- Fair High School Class of 1942 reunion (69 years). Edith is looking forward to the 70th.
