THORNDALE—Thorndale ISD super intendent Casey Callahan said he has received 120 applicants for the recently vacated athletic director/head coach positions.

Asked if the large number of applications surprised him, Callahan said yes and no.

“Yes because it is so late in the game and no because we always have a lot of interest in the job here at Thorndale.”

The Superintendent said he may be ready to name a new coach by this Friday and is busy inter v iew ing applicants this week.
