Kyle-Currey reunion Sunday at Forest Grove

The annual Kyle-Currey family reunion will be held at noon Sunday, July 24 in the fellowship hall of Forest Grove Christian Church, immediately following morning worship service, according to Jim Currey, spoke sma n. A c overed d ish luncheon will be served, he said.

Class of 1986 reunion Friday and Saturday

The RHS Class of 1986 will hold its 25th-year reunion from 8 p.m. until midnight Friday, July 22 at The Ranch and Saturday, July 23 at Rockdale Country Club, 1 p.m. until midnight.

The class invites the classes of 1985 and 1987 to join them for the Friday night event.

Handrick reunion planned for July 30

THORNDALE—The 14th annual Johann and Theresia (Mertink) Handrick family reunion will be held Saturday, July 30 at Thorndale Firemen’s Hall, spokesperson Joy Kieschnick Teinert announced.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and the meal will be served at 12:30 p.m.

“Hope all our families can make it and join us for barbecue brisket and sausage and all the trimmings,” Teinert said.

There will be games for the kids, face painting and a brief service by Rev. Wilbern Michalk.

Golden Girls reunion scheduled August 6

A Golden Girls reunion, for members of the RHS drill teams will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6 at The Ranch.

RHS Golden Girls will ‘meet and share’

The RHS Golden Girls of 1988 through 1999, who were under the direction of Rowena Ortega, will hold a “meet and share” event from 1 until 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at The Ranch.

Mrs. Ortega provided the following information:

“We will have videos, powerpoint presentations and memorabilia tables. Later that night (7-11 p.m.) we will meet back at The Ranch for dancing and visiting.

“Friends, family and all Golden Girls and directors from the beginning to present are invited. The Ranch needs a head-count. Please let us know if you can attend. Also, let us know if you would like to help with decorations, memorbilia, scrapbooks and other details.

The RHS Classes of 1971 and 1972 will hold a joint reunion from 6 until 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Rockdale Countr y Club.

Shaw family reunion Aug. 13 in Gause FBC

Spies reunion set Aug. 7, Hallettsville

HALLETTSVILLE—The 56th annual reunion of descendants of August Spies will be held on Sunday, Aug. 7 at the American Legion Hall in Hallettsville.
