Towery to retire from Citizens after 35 years


Towery Towery Citizens National Bank would like to announce the retirement of Carol Ann Towery after 35 years in the banking industry. She began her banking c a reer in 1977 as a Bank Teller. Carol A nn has held the positions of vault teller and head teller during her years of banking.

She has worked for Citizens Nat iona l Bank for the past nine years and prior to joining Citizens, she worked for IBC Bank for one year, NBC Bank for 19 years and Rockdale State Bank for six years.

Towery has worked hard all of her career and has earned the opportunity to enjoy more time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Mike Vance, president and CEO of Citizens National Bank said.

“All of us at Citizens National Bank want to wish Carl Ann the very best in her retirement years. She has proudly served the banking industry. She has seen many changes in this business during her 35 year career. She will be missed by all of us,” Vance said.

Towery pllans on traveling and gardening as well. She said she will miss her loyal customers, friends and co-workers.
