Shaw family reunion Saturday in Gause
GAUSE—A reunion for family and friends of Ossie and Lula (McNeil) Shaw will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 in the First Bap - tist Church Family Life Center in Gause.

Handrick family members meet
THORNDALE–The families of the descendents of Johann and Theresia (Mertink) Handrick met for their 14th reunion on July 30 at the Fireman’s Hall in Thorndale.
There were 145 that registered and enjoyed a barbecue brisket and sausage meal with all the trimmings.
There was a lot of visiting by the older family members and games and fun for the kids. Awards went to Victor and Mildred Waiser of Thorndale for the longest married at 59 years. The newlyweds were Larry and Misty Kieschnick of Fort Worth at 16 months. The oldest man in attendance was Victor Waiser of Thorndale at 85 and the oldest lady was Verna Mae Herzog of Lubbock at 83s.
The person travelling the furtherst was Nicole Macaulley of Alaska. The youngest girl was Karlie Cargill of Thorndale at two months and the youngest boy was Kaden Kuhl of Thorndale at t wo and a half months.
It was decided to have another reunion in two years on the last Saturday of July, 2013 at the Fireman’s Hall in Thorndale. —Joy Teinert, spokesperson
Eiland family to meet Sept. 4 in Rockdale
The 74th Eiland family reunion will be held on Sunday, Sept. 4 at the KC Hall in Rockdale.
All family members are encouraged to attend. Bring picnic lunches to share.
The hall will open at 10 a. m. Lunch will be served at noon. Paper goods and drings will be provided.

Milano Exes Reunion set Saturday, Oct. 29
MILANO—The Milano Eagles will host the Snook Bluejays on Friday, Oct. 28 for the MHS homecoming football game.
The Milano Exes’ Reunion will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 in the MHS cafetorium. Doors will open at 10 a.m. Steve and Rebecca Telg of The Crossing will cater a fajita meal at noon.
Donations are needed for both a silent auction and live auction. Items can be brought the morning of the Oct. 29.
