Milano Opry to hit the stage Saturday at high school

McGregor betters Rock Tuesday night on road
Nothing could better prepare the Rockdale Lady Tigers for their district ledger than participating in the second annual Copperas Cove Tournament, where some of the top teams in the state were present.
After Tuesday night’s loss to McGregor on the road, the Lady Tigers drop to 1-6 on the young season.

Area rebates bring some light
Rebates down 14.5 percent for Rockdale in 2011
AUSTIN—Texas Comptroller Susan Combs has announced that state sales revenue in July was $1.86 billion, up 10.3 percent compared to July 2010.
Those numbers still don’t bring rebates back into the positive for most area entities. Rockdale is down for the month and year. Whereas Milam County is up for the month, but down compared to August 2010. Full Story
