Milano family loses home



A Milano fa mily of five, including three special needs children, is without a home after fire destroyed their resid ence on Count y Road 344 Loop just after 4 p. m. Tuesday. The Virgil and Donna Bun ch home sustained major damage. Firefighters from Milano, Rockdale and Gaus e—includin g Joe Beatty of the Milano VFD (above) —responded to the scene, along with the Depar tment of Public Sa fety and Mila m County Sheriff’s Department. Rockdale VF D Fire Chief, and Precinct 3 Constable Her bie Vaughan, said th e fir e was trac ed to an over heated dryer. Fire fighters were on the scene nea rly four and a half hours, with Milano units called back around 9: 45 p. m. for a rekindle.
