The event raised $5,400. Reporter/Bill Martin A gym full of eager bidders and a pantry full of tasty baked goods was the perfect recipe for a successful evening.

The 11th annual “Meet The Tigers” cake auction was held Mond ay n ig ht a nd ra ised $5,400 for the athletic program, surpassing the past two year’s total haul.

In over a decade of selling of f their baked goods, Rockdale athletes have raised over $45,000.

Tiger players bake cakes, pies or cookies themselves and the results are auctioned off by veteran caller John Fisher to anyone who wishes to bid.
