Caywood

Funeral services for Wanda L. Caywood, 89, were held Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home. Burial followed in Minerva Cemetery.

Mrs. Caywood died Tuesday, Aug. 23, at her home in Minerva with her family by her side.

She was born July 15, 1922, in Indian Gap to John and Mary (Winters) Rutherford.

Mrs. Caywood attended school at Gay Hill and graduated from Milano High School.

She married Hubert L. Caywood on July 19, 1941, in Rockdale.

Mrs. Caywood lived most of her life in Rockdale and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Murray Street Church of Christ and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Mrs. Caywood was preceded in death by a son, Brent Caywood, on Jan. 22, 2001; her parents; a brother, Noble Rutherford; and two sisters, Bonnie Davenport and Billy Jean Caffey.

Survivors are her husband, Hubert Caywood of Rockdale; a son, Ronnie Caywood and wife Millie of Rockdale; two daughters, Lisa Montague and husband

Phillip of Ward, Arkansas, Becky Woolf and husband Walt of Rockdale; 12 grandchildren, Farrah Austin and husband Craig, Robert Montague and wife Kristin, Lacie Richter and husband Laban, Hunter Mueller, Charlsie Mueller, Kinley Mueller, Kim Filla and husband Joey, Pam Ross, Mary Gomez, Rosie Oliver and husband Eddy, Alfonso Gomez and Jimmie Gomez; and eight great-grandchildren, Whitney Austin, Ethan Austin, Madison Filla, Brodie Filla, Braeden Richter, E.T. Oliver, Nikki Oliver and Adrianna Montague.

Pallbearers were Mike Davenport, Steve Davenport, E.T. Oliver, Robert Montague, Jimmy Gomez and Laban Richter.
