Tuma-Holliman family reunion set Saturday

The Tuma-Holliman family reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Rockdale Christian Church, located at the corner of Rockdale Road and Sager Street, spokesperson Ida Hairston announced.

The reunion is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. For more information, call Hairston at 446-5168.

Ford family reunion set Sunday at Milano

MILANO— Friends and families of Charlie Franklin Ford and John Wesley Ford will meet for a reunion Sunday, Sept. 4 at the Milano Community Center.

The reunion will begin around 10:30 a.m. and continue until midaf ternoon. Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish for lunch to be served at noon. Draw- ings will be held for door prizes.

“Bring your family pictures and any games that might be enjoyed,” said Mary Jane Boyd, spokesperson.

Eiland family to meet Sunday in Rockdale

The 74th Eiland family reunion will be held on Sunday, Sept. 4 at the KC Hall in Rockdale.

All family members are encouraged to attend. Bring picnic lunches to share.

The hall will open at 10 a. m. Lunch will be served at noon. Paper goods and drinks will be provided.

MHS class of 2001 to hold reunion Sept. 10

The Milano High School class of 2001 will hold its 10 year reunion on Saturday, Sept. 10, spokesperson Kerry Brown-Silvey announced.

The reunion will be held at Apache Pass, 9112 N FM 908, near Rockdale. The reunion, set to start at 11 a.m. will be held on the grounds during the day.

“We will eat and mingle, Brown- Silvey said. Bring your own beverages, no glass please. There might possibly be a water slide for the kids during the day.

That evening, the adults will gather at the Apache Pass Icehouse to visit.

Milano Exes Reunion set Saturday, Oct. 29

MILANO—The Milano Eagles will host the Snook Bluejays on Friday, Oct. 28 for the MHS homecoming football game.

The Milano Exes’ Reunion will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 in the MHS cafetorium. Doors will open at 10 a.m. Steve and Rebecca Telg of The Crossing will cater a fajita meal at noon.

Donations are needed for both a silent auction and live auction. Items can be brought the morning of Oct. 29.

Ann Hashem Kraf t will attend again with her new book, The Red Diamond of Nadirjna. She will also have copies of her first book, The Opera Ghost Lives.
