Play ‘Exodus’ and keep RHS tradition alive
The Growing Up in Rockdale group on Facebook has been buzzing of late due to one of the members (1969 grad of RHS) attending a game and “Exodus” was not played.
This is disturbing to the entire group as we realize and hold dear the times that Exodus was played and why.

There is a movement under way to encourage people to recite the Lord’s Prayer during the moment of silence observed at school football games.

Horse laws cruel for owners and livestock
Many times in our nation’s history, we have had good people that saw what they thought was a problem and because of their passion have convinced the lawmakers that something should be done to make it illegal.

Disappointed about ‘no recycling’ decision
Garbage pick up one day a week? I have no problem with that.
I am disappointed that we will not have recycling.
I recycle newspapers, junk mail, cardboard, plastic and glass bottles, aluminum cans and plastic bags.
My leaves and kitchen peels go into my compost pile. Therefore, I have very little actual trash. Full Story
Just promote ‘mineral water’ rich in Rockdale
We are look ing at t his all wrong.
Take a negative and make a positive.
We don’t need to spend $25 million all we need to do is promote Rockdale as hav ing great mineral water.

‘Nocturnal’ not worth cost in human terms
I would like to weigh in on the “Nocturnal Fest” issue.
For the record I don’t know what a “rave” is, but I would guess it is something I would want my children to attend.
