Pratt

MILANO—Memorial services for Douglas E. Pratt, 65, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, in Friendship Baptist Church near Milano with Rev. Delmer McCracken officiating.

Mr. Pratt died Saturday, Sept. 3, in Regency Manor Nursing Home in Temple.

He was born May 20, 1946, to Cecil Evy Pratt and Vera E. (Buffington) Pratt.

Mr. Pratt was raised in Milano and had lived in Mexia, Brenham and Temple the past 22 years.

He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, attended Milano school and enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Pratt was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Evy Prat t, on Jan. 13, 1976; his mother, Vera E. Gasper on June 28, 2000; and a sister, Shirley Boyd.

Sur v iv ing are two sisters, Peggy Pratt of Milano, Sandra Hamilton of Topeka, Kansas.
