New boutique ‘cuts’ ribbon, donates tree

CHAMBER NEWS
Deedra Jacob

This week I am showcasing a new business to Rockdale’s downtown district, Elements at Main. This little boutique is just gorgeous. I had the pleasure of visiting it last week and we had an amazing ribbon cutting this morning to kick off its grand opening.

Instead of the tradition cutting of the ribbon, the owners of the shop decided that they wanted to donate a tree to Rockdale to help aid in our beautification efforts. I thought it was an incredibly generous and thoughtful idea. Thank you ladies so much for doing that.

They are located at 219 N. Main and are open Tuesday through Saturday. They have beautiful jewelry, clothes, handbags and more. Please stop by and see what Elements on Main has to offer and welcome them to Rockdale.

Also, remember, that the Central Texas Hunting and Outdoor Expo is happening Sept. 23-24 at Apache Pass. We have many vendors already signed up but there is always room for you. So if you are interested in having a booth, please call the Chamber.

We are also taking applications for the barbecue cook-off and pageants; however, you will also be able to sign up the day of the event. Have a great week. Deedra Jacob is the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce president. Email her at djacob@rockdalechamber.com or phone 446-2030.
