Alexander

Serv ices for Tommy G. Alexa nder, 60, of Thorndale wi ll be held at 11 a. m. Thursd ay, Sept. 15, 2011, at Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasa nt Hill Cemeter y near Rockdale.

Mr. Ale xan der died Mon da y, Sept. 12 , in R ich ard s Memo r ial Hospital in Ro ckdale. He wa s born Oct. 18, 1950, in Pau ls Valley, Ok la homa, to George We sle y and Bett y Lorraine (Pelfrey) Alex ander. He marrie d Debra Ann Cook on Nov. 24, 1972, in Purnell, Oklahoma.

Mr. Alexander was a re sident of the Thorndale area for 39 yea rs. He was a mast er elec tr ic ia n with Alc oa, retiring afte r30 years. Mr. Alexander was a U. S. Army veter an of the Firs t Cava lry serving in Vietnam.

He was a member of Rockdale VF W Post No. 6525 and the Brotherhood of Electrica l Workers.

M r. A lex a nd er was an av id hunter and horseman. He was pre ceded in death by his father and a niece, Cat heri ne Alex ander. Survivors are his wife, Debr a Alexander of Thorndale; two sons, Shaw nAlexander and wifeGeri of Rockda le, Michael A lex ander and wife Vic toria of Thornd ale; a daug hter, St ac y Montelongo and hu sband Tho mas of Thorndale; his mother, Betty Bell of Rockdale; four brothers, Carl Alexander Sr. and wife Elaine, Jimmy Alexander and wife Shirley, Jerry Alexander and wife Debbie, all of Rockdale, Ronnie Alexander and wife Pam of Thorndale ; two sister s, Cheryl Stand rid ge and hu sband Don of Ok lahom a, Dian n Surg ine r and husband Clyde of Rockdale; eight grandchildren, Sama ntha Alexa nder,

Madeline Montelongo, Hannah

Alexa nder, Jacob Montelongo, Case y Alexander, Brooksy Fisher, Ha ley Davidson and Amanda Barton; and a grea t- granddaug hter, Paisly Fisher.
