Private graveside service s for LaNel le C. Barry, 95, of San Marcos were held in I. O. O. F. Cemeter y in Ro ckdale.

Mrs. Barr y died Wednes da y, Sept . 7, 201 1, i n Cent ra l Texas Medical Center in Sa n Marcos.

She was born July 5, 1916, in Roc kda le to Mr. and Mrs. Ma r- sha ll Guy Cly more.

She married Alfons L. Barry on Dec. 19, 1946, in Corpus Christi.

Mrs. Bar ry was a homemaker and had been a San Marco s resident since 197 7.

She was a member of the Women’s

Professional Bowling Association.

Mrs .Barrywasasp onsored baseball player duri ng World War II and was a militar y wi fe for 30 years.

She wa s prec eded in death by her pa rents; her hu sband, Alfons L. Barry, on May 13, 2005; and a sister, Willard Car ver.

Sur vivors are two sons, Michael Ba r ry of Sa n Dieg o, California , Dr. M. Guy Ba r ry of Hou st on; a d aug ht er, Pat ricia L . Hu ff of Hunti ngton Beac h, Califor nia; a si ster, Be ssie Robinson of Rockd a le ; a nd fou r gr a nd child re n , Mike Barry, Ma rily n Barry, Tim Huf f and Dav id Huf f; also, four great- grandchildren.
