Diver-Hairston reunion

MILANO—The annual Diver-Hairston reunion will be held Sunday, Oct. 2 at the Milano Civic Center. Doors will be open at 10 a.m. and the covered dish lunch will start at 12:30.

This will be the 66th reunion for the Divers. This family has been meeting on the first Sunday in October since 1946. The Hairstons had been meeting on the last Sunday in July since the late 1940s. It was decided to combine the two at the last Hairston reunion held July 27, 2003. They will continue to meet on the first Sunday in October.—Carolyn Hafley, publicist, 455-2473

RHS Class of ‘66

The Rockdale High School Class of 1966 will hold its 45th-year reunion on Saturday, Oct. 15 at The Ranch, 415 W. US 79 in Rockdale. The group will visit from 3 to 5 p.m. and return for dinner, visiting and live music at 7 p.m.

Rockdale will play Smithville on Friday, Oct. 14 in football. Classmates may gather at Apache Pass beginning at 8 p.m. and continue for after-game visiting.

A Sunday brunch is being considered. Contact those listed below to let them know if are interested in the activity.

Milano Exes Reunion

MILANO—The Milano Eagles will host the Snook Bluejays on Friday, Oct. 28 for the MHS homecoming football game.

The Milano Exes’ Reunion will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29 in the MHS cafetorium. Doors will open at 10 a.m. Steve and Rebecca Telg of The Crossing will cater a fajita lunch.

Donations are needed for both a silent auction and live auction. Items can be brought the morning of the Oct. 29.

Ann Hashem Kraf t will attend again with her new book, The Red Diamond of Nadirjna. She will also have copies of her first book, The Opera Ghost Lives.

Migl family reunion

PRAHA—The 2011 Migl reunion, descendants of Frantisek and Johana Migl, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church and Parish Hall at 821 FM 1295, Praha. This is the 137th anniversary of the Migl family’s arrival in America.

Registration begins at 10 a.m., a lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. ($7 per person; children under 8 eat free). After lunch, a family reunion meeting, fellowship and silent auction will take place, followed by a Migl family Mass at 4:30 p.m. Each family is asked to donate items for the silent auction and to bring a dessert for the meal.

Noack family reunion

WARDA—The 45th annual reunion of the descendants of Johann Noack, Jakob Noack and Maria Noack Schulze will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, beginning with coffee and sweets, at the Holy Cross Lutheran picnic grounds in Warda.

Attendees are asked to bring as many family members as possible, photographs to share, and covered dishes. Bread, tea, coffee, plates, cups and utensils will be provided.
