FFA FUNDS—The Rockdale chapter of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) held its first meeting of the year Sept. 19 with a hot dog dinner for everyone (hot dogs donated by Brookshire Bros). Special guests were Billy Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pond and Mr. and Mrs. James Birkhead. The Rockdale 4-H and FFA Boosters donated $500 toward an affiliation fee for the chapter, and the chapter passed several constitutional admendments to better the opportunities for the younger members in their chapter. The next FFA meetings are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 10, with Junior FFA at 4:30 p.m. and FFA at 5:30.
