The Rockdale Lady Tigers fell to the No. 7 ranked LaGrange Lady Leopards in straight sets Tuesday night at Tiger Gym.
The Lady Tigers (6-19, 0-4) fell 11-25, 16-25, 19-25.
Lisa Vest had five kills and Shelbie Evans t wo block s against LaGrange.

MILANO—The Milano Eagles will put their undefeated record to the test this week as they host the No. 8 ranked Burton Panthers, who are also 5- 0 on the season, in the District 13-A Division II opener for both teams on Friday night at Pruitt Field.

Thorndale stops four game skid
No. 24 Lady Dogs upend No. 25 Florence on road
The No. 24 Thorndale Lady Dogs broke a four game losing streak with a road win at No. 25 Florence on Tuesday night, defeating the Lady Buffs 25-19, 25-12, 25-12.
Tamicka Cook and Heat her Butterworth each had seven kills on the night.

Milano opens second half with road victory
No. 13 Lady Eagles have reeled off nine straight wins
The No. 13 Milano Lady Eagles began the second round of District 25-A action on Tuesday night with a road win in Holland.
The 22-8, 7-0 Lady Eagles are now on a nine game winning streak.
It took Milano four sets to take the match from the Lady Hornets, winning 25-19 25-18, 22-25, 25-14. Full Story

Ford’s five touchdowns lead 7th grade to win
THURSDAY: The junior varsity and freshmen host Navasota with the first game at 5 p.m.. The junior high Tigers are idle.
Fighting off an early deficit, the Rockdale Tiger seventh grade team picked up their first victory of the season by whipping Salado 36-20 as Davion Ford crossed the goal line five times. Full Story
