The 2011 Rockdale Fair and Rodeo ought to look a lot like the 2010 event Thursday through Saturday and that’s just fine with Rockdale Fair Association directors.

Rockdale Police and the Milam County Sheriff ’s Department swooped dow n on t wo su spected drug- dealing locations Saturday and Monday as part of an eight-month, large-scale drug sting operation.

Milano homecoming court announced
Milano’s homecoming football game is set for Friday, Oct. 28 and the new homecoming queen will be crowned during halftime ceremonies. Queen nominees are seniors Desiree Adrian, Brittany Barnett, Elizabeth Keller and Arianna Douglas. Class duchesses are junior Raighley Shaw, sophomore Victoria Garcia and freshman Halle McManess.
