THORNDALE—Trailing 20- 13 at halftime, the Thorndale Bulldogs decided enough was enough and continued their playoff fight.
Behind a third quarter scoring outburst, the Bulldogs staved off a feisty Rosebud-Lott team 49- 26 Friday night to remain in the middle of the playoff picture. Full Story

NASHVILLE— After eight rounds of tournament play, Cameron Scitern is leading the Tennessee State golf team with a scoring average of 71.63

Thorndale to close out season this week
THORNDALE—It was a must win for the Thorndale Lady Dogs as they hosted the Cameron Lady Yoe, but fell short in the marathon match on Tuesday night at Bulldog Gym.
Thorndale (22-14, 5-7) fell in five sets 13-25, 25-22, 16-25, 25-15, 11-15.
The Lady Dogs needed to win to keep any post-season hopes alive. It was the final home game for Thorndale this season. Full Story
Milano moves to 7-0 after handling Holland at home
Eagles earn No. 15 state ranking after latest win
MILANO—For the first time since 1999, the Milano Eagles are 7-0 on the season and look to snag a post-season berth if they get that eighth win on Friday.
The now No. 15 ranked Eagles handled District 13-A Division II opponent Holland 20- 8 on Friday night, which was also Seniors/Parents Night at Pruett Field. Full Story

MIL A NO—The No. 11 Lady Eagles clinched at least a share of the District 25A title with a win over Granger on Tuesday night at Geneva Paceley Gym. It is the 11th district title for coach Wendy King in her 18 years as head volleyball coach at Milano.

Freshman team gets back on track by tagging Tigers
THURSDAY: The junior varsity and freshmen host LaGrange with the first game at 5 p.m. The junior high Tigers travel to LaGrange with the first game starting at 4:30 p.m.
