Milam County, along with Burleson, Lee, and Washington counties will sponsor a Soil Test Campaign which will offer routine and routine and micronutrient soil tests to producers at reduced cost. The cost of routine test will be $7 and the routine & micronutrients will be $14.

Samples must be turned in to the extension office by the deadline of Nov. 18, as well as fill out all required information on the submission form to qualify for the reduced cost test.

Please submit soil sample, soil campaign submission form and payment in the form of a check only payable to Milam ELAB, by the deadline. If you need soil sample bags, or submission forms, please stop by the office at 100 East 1st Street in Cameron.

EEA annual Christmas Cottage set Friday

CAMERON— On Friday, Nov. 4 stop by Bea’s Kitchen in Cameron from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. for shopping and eating. The Milam County Extension Education Association members and the Family and Consumer Sciences Committee are sponsoring the event to get you in the mood for the Holiday Season.

You will be able to shop at a variety of craft, decorating and gift booths. This is a come and stay as long as you can Christmas Cottage that is sure to get you in the mood to prepare for the holidays.
