Rockdale, Cameron only polling places in Tuesday amendment vote
There will be only four polling places in Milam County—two each in Rockdale and Cameron— for Tuesday’s Texas Constitutional Amendment election.

Some school districts and municipal entities may still be grappling with a scheduling problem involving their 2012 elections but the problem has been resolved in Rockdale. Full Story
Schools plan programs for veterans
Nov. 11 is Veterans Day and all four Rockdale ISD campuses are planning observances, including the return of a Rockdale tradition.
Elementar y and intermediate students will combine in the elementary gym at 2 p.m. that day for a program of patriotic music, according to Principals Sandee Calame and Kathy Pelzel.
