Four cases disposed of in 20th District Court

CAMERON—Four cases were disposed of in 20th District Court during the week ending on Friday, Oct. 28, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears, who listed them as follows:

• Matthew Lee Vargas, 25, Cameron, pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of identifying information, two-year, probated, state jail term, standard conditions of probation, $500 fine.

• Jason Daniel Taylor, 20, Bellmead, pleaded guilty to burglary of a building, two-years state jail term probated five years with standard conditions of probation, pay restitution of $2,677.57 with codefendants.

• Luther James Waddell, 39, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), 12-month state jail term.

• David Alvarado, 33, Austin, made an open plea to the court on a charge of forgery by making and was sentenced by District Judge John Youngblood to a two-year state jail term, probated four years with standard conditions of probation, and ordered him to pay $3,211.95 restitution.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
