89 attend Milano Exes 2011 reunion Saturday

Eighty-nine exes, teachers and friends attended the 2011 Milano Ex-Students Association reunion held Saturday in the Milano High School cafetorium.

Unfortunately your writer’s camera batteries went dead and I got very few pictures. If anyone got pictures of classmates wearing their jackets let me know. I really wanted to show them off.

Special thanks to all the donations made to the silent and live auctions. We made $991 on just the auctions. Other donations were made in memory of friends and family members.

Thanks to Steve and Rebecca Telg and Jennifer and Richard Mueck for catering the meal. Desserts were a real hit, and Kay Lagrone even brought sugar-free banana pudding for those who need to avoid sugar.

The money will benefit our kids in many ways.

Thanks to Ray Cass for conducting the live auction and making it fun and interesting. He had double duty that day as he was headed to Gause for their Fall

A donation can be made at any time for anybody. An acknowledgement is sent to families and the donor.

We appreciate all who attended, especially the teachers and firsttime visitors and we hope to see them again next year.
