Bake sale planned to help RHS junior, family

The RHS “Friends of Rachel” club will host a bake sale for Brittany Cowan, a junior at RHS, and her family on Tuesday, Nov. 15, organizer Caroline Wilde said.

The Cowan family recently lost their home in a fire, so the F.O.R. club has stepped in to help. The bake sale will be at the new RHS gym during the girls’ basketball game starting at 5 p.m. All purchases and donations are greatly appreciated.

Box tops for big bucks

Rockdale PTO is currently collecting “Box Tops for Education” at the elementary, intermediate and junior high campuses.

Milano Elementary’s PATCH Club is also collecting box tops.

Simply clip the box tops from participating products and send them to each campus. Each box top earns 10 cents and that money will stay at the campus the box tops are sent to.

For more information on ways to earn box tops rewards for your local schools visit www.btfe.com.
